Hosted payload missions rely on close collaboration with spacecraft manufacturers and platform providers. As a Systems Engineer focused on platform integration, you will become one of the key technical interfaces between SpaceLocker and our hosting partners.
Missions
Your role is to ensure that payloads can be integrated efficiently across different spacecraft platforms while maintaining technical consistency and mission success.
In this position, you will:
- Manage technical interfaces with spacecraft manufacturers and hosting partners.
- Coordinate payload accommodation activities throughout mission preparation.
- Define and maintain interface requirements, ICDs and integration documentation.
- Support technical negotiations related to payload compatibility and mission constraints.
- Coordinate internal engineering teams to ensure consistent implementation of interface requirements.
- Contribute to verification, integration campaigns and mission readiness reviews.
- Help develop standardized integration approaches across multiple hosting platforms.
For this opportunity, compensation package is 50 to 60k€ before tax, with an additional 10% performance bonus. 5 week paid vacation, hybrid remote work.

Hard skills
- Engineering degree with experience in systems engineering or spacecraft integration.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Comfortable managing technical interfaces between organizations.
- Experience producing structured engineering documentation and interface control documents.
- Familiarity with spacecraft development, payload integration or AIT/AIV is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
