To expand its presence on the NewSpace ecosystem scene and on the shared satellite and payload hosting market, SpaceLocker is looking to expand its business development team.
Your Mission
In this position, you will work closely with the CEO and the Mission Manager to:
- Provide in depth market analysis and Business Intelligence reports on the ecosystem.
- Work on tender proposals, participate in the redaction of the company presentation, project management description, financial document etc.
- Participate in sales calls and work on preparing slide decks to present the company to both prospective clients, partners or investors.
- Exchange regularly with the Technical Team to keep track of the latest developments and maintain a coherence between the product and the commercial development.
- Search for and contact new potential prospects, keep track of SpaceLocker’s pipeline.
- Participate in the organization of our next satellite missions and flight opportunities.
- Prepare for and attend Space Events and Forums with the Commercial Team to present our solution and answer questions.
- Work on and implement SpaceLocker’s Communication Strategy.
Practical Details
- You will be working in the Paris city-center in the renowned and dynamic start-up incubator Agoranov.
- For this opportunity, the compensation package if of 1200€ after tax, with 2 weeks of paid leave over the 6 months duration.
- Remote-working can be allowed on a reasonable basis for one or two days a week.
Your Profile

Hard skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field.
- Proven experience in project management either professional or in university teams.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CRM Software and following a pipeline (Folk, Notion, Airtable, …) is a plus.
- Good redaction skills in English (and French is a plus)
- Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with Bid Management is a plus.
Soft skills
- You like practical, hands-on projects, and show autonomy. The startup world is a bit messy sometimes, and we’ll need your help on unexpected topics to keep up with the swirl of things going on,
- You have great communication and interpersonal skills to be able to effectively present the company and our technology and convey their interest to a non-technical public.
- You have had a first experience of working in a leadership position in a team, and enjoy teaching and stimulating your peers
- You are interested in the Start-up world and the Entrepreneurial adventure. In this internship, you will work in a start-up incubator with other extremely innovative companies in the heart of Paris’ city centre.
- You are passionate about space and have a general culture about the space sector.
